Inaguration day!

Align RightI'm so sorry that I haven't been keeping up on blogging. Its been so chaotic, I seriously haven't had any time to just sit down and blog. Here is what happened today. Chuck, Dah, Isaac and I all woke up at about 5:00 to get good spots for the inauguration and was (and still am) tired. Then we quickly got dressed in as many layers as possible and headed out the hotel door. A first the streets seemed deserted, but slowly more people started to trickle in and before I knew it there were people everywhere. Then we walked into a giant tunnel that seemed to never end, but it was it was warm. :) We popped out of the tunnel into a giant mass of people. Slowly we trudged to the security line (it took about an hour and a half to get there) and got checked to make sure we weren't carrying bombs and stuff like that. Then we tumbled to our spots for the inauguration and tried to stay awake. We were forced to stand up the whole time, because it was so packed but it kept us warm. (: The ceremony was nice and there were no huge distractions, besides the really loud and talkative lady behind us. They had a boys choir, a military group, and YoYo Ma preform which was cool. After the ceremony, we tried to get to the reflecting pool so we could "ice skate" across to the capitol. And
